Sarah Nicole Clymer and Brady Marshall Basso, a match made in OSU Freshmen dorm heaven… The story that we all imagine will happen to us that first year when we venture off to college happened to these two. They met in a really sweet way, dated throughout college, and just said “I do” at The Milestone, a stunning North Texas wedding venue, in December of 2020.

Their Story

Sarah was at a point where most Freshmen find themselves at the end of the semester… needing to use the remainder of her meal plan before her parent’s money was to be so generously gifted to the university. Sarah had made arrangements with a friend to meet her to help carry the water bottles up to her room. Her friend brought Brady. Sarah remembers that Brady held the door for her even though “he was dropping all these waters and it was just the cutest”. Sarah knew then and there that she would marry him.

They soon became “official” and their first date was to the movies. Brady is an avid movie fan and had to show Sarah the right way to enjoy a movie. He brought a blanket and bought all of the snacks.

“I knew I wanted to marry him the day I met him, to be honest” Sarah recalls. “I went to my dorm and texted every baseball player I knew and I was like you have to tell me more about this guy I’m going to marry him”. And marry him she did.

The Vendor Team

On December 19, 2020, Brady and Sarah tied the knot at The Milestone in Aubrey, Texas. They reserved the entire venue which consists of a historic mansion, a beautiful white barn, and an outdoor pavilion.

This wedding venue is a must-see if you are looking to get married in the North Texas area. Each aspect of the property offers a unique setting and backdrop. Whether you choose to use the entire property or just one building, you will not be disappointed! In addition to the stunning venue, the vendor team that Sarah and her planner, Angela Webb of Pretty Little Planners, assembled brought Sarah’s vision to life in a way that she never thought was truly possible.

Between stunning fall florals by Fleurs by Bella, lovely signs by Akela Clark Designs, picture-perfect stationery by Brown Fox Creative, and the most beautiful dress from Chantilly Couture Bridal, the day could not have been more perfect… and Sarah and Brady gave me the honor to photograph and capture their day.
