Venue 400 at North Ervay sits atop a United States Postal Center and Court House in the heart of downtown Dallas. The building was built in 1930 and many of the original design has been preserved. The building won the Historic Rehabilitation Award in 2015 for the preservation of the rich and distinctive architecture that creates a sophisticated setting like no other. One of the courtrooms in the building (that is available for your ceremony or reception) even heard the case of Roe v. Wade in 1973.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Megan and Ryan at this venue in May of 2020. In the midst of COVID, the outdoor rooftop space was simply perfect. The couple made sure to utilize the rooftop as much as they could! After the ceremony, dinner was in the courtroom so that the rooftop could be flipped to a dance floor.
